This project consists of the furnishing and installation of all equipment, labor, and materials for water service line replacements in the Town of Schererville, Indiana. The work also includes restoration of grass, asphalt roadway, concrete sidewalk, driveway, and curb replacement. Bids shall be properly and completely executed on the Bid Form and must be accompanied by an Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96, signed copies of Addenda (if issued), Contractor's Affidavit of Compliance with Indiana's Illegal Immigration Law, and satisfactory bid security as set forth in the Project Documents. A certified or cashier's check payable to the Town of Schererville or a bid bond in an amount equal to five percent of the bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide all required project insurance, and separate Performance and Labor and Material Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract amount. Bidders must be experienced in the construction of this type of facility. Bidders shall complete Bid Form 96, Financial Questionnaire, and provide a Financial Statement. Each successful bidder and all levels of subcontractors shall comply with the requirements of the Town of Schererville Responsible Bidding Practices Ordinance No. 1900, 2025, and 2026.
