This project is located in 6 different school zones within the city, with sites near Jackson Elementary, Oak Grove Elementary, Lone Pine Elementary, Jefferson Elementary, Kennedy Elementary, and the Kids Unlimited Academy. Pay items include, but are not limited to the following: 26.2 square yards removal of surfacings; 235 square feet of concrete walks; 2 each unintegrated speed feedback assemblies; 1 each unintegrated speed feedback assemblies on existing light poles; 9 each flashing beacon installations; 3 each flashing beacon installations on existing street light poles; 14 each of perforated steel square tube sign supports; 1 each of wood sign posts; and 235 square feet of sheet aluminum signs. Completion date: August 28th, 2026. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check equivalent to 10% of the proposal payable to the City of Medford, to guarantee that if a proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance secured. A Bid Bond to like effect and amount with a corporate surety will be acceptable for this project. Bids must be in writing and signed by or on behalf of the bidders. All Bidders shall be prequalified with the City of Medford, as provided by law under Oregon Revised Statutes, at least 5 days prior to opening of bids. All of the provisions of Section 279C.800 through 279C.870 ORS, as amended by Senate Bill 477, relating to wage rates to be paid on all contracts for Public Works in this state must be complied with and the statement attesting to the contractor's willingness to do so must be signed and submitted with the bid.
