Bidder’s can submit questions, in writing, to demilio@cplteam.com until 5:00 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2026. The project is for general construction and requires bidders to provide labor, materials, equipment, and all associated costs necessary to complete the work. The scope of work includes the construction of an asphalt parking lot with associated concrete curbing, sidewalks, sidewalk ramps, and a storm sewer system on the SUNY Broome Campus. Bidders must submit one original, one duplicate, and one electronic copy on USB drive of the contract proposals in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with "SUNY Broome Community College office of Purchasing", the project title, bid number, and the contractor's name and address. Each bid must be in a separate envelope. A deposit of five percent (5%) of the bid amount, in cash, certified check, or bid bond payable to SUNY Broome Treasurer, must accompany each proposal. If the bid price exceeds $100,000, there is a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) subcontracting goal of 3.5% and an EEO Minority Hiring Goal of 5.0%. Other required documents include a Bid Bond, Non-Collusive Bidding Certificate, Contractor's Qualification Statement, Contractor/Subcontractor Questionnaire, Election Law Statement, Gift Statement, Iranian Energy Divestment Certification, Stormwater Certification, Offeror's Certification of Executive Order 177, Proposed MBE Commitment, W-9 Form, and a Bidders Checklist. Bidders are responsible for obtaining all bid documents and addenda from the official online plan room.
