Sealed bids are requested for roof replacement and alterations at 112 E. Mansfield Street, Bucyrus, Ohio. State Prevailing Wages apply. Each bid must include a Bid Guaranty as per Ohio Revised Code Section 153.54. Bidders are referred to the Invitation to Bidders in the Bidding Documents for full details. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and award to the lowest responsive bidder. Estimated construction costs are $1,713,000 for the base bid and $440,000 for all add alternates. 1. Base Bid and Add Alternates: a. All work described by the Contract Documents not covered elsewhere in this Section by other Contracts or by the Owner. b. Provide overall coordination and scheduling of the Work, including the work of all subcontractors on the Project; and administer weekly progress meetings or as necessary. c. Provide and pay for telephone (cell phone service is acceptable), temporary power service (if necessary) and other temporary equipment and related fuel as necessary. d. Furnish and pay for job-site toilet, waste removal, cleaning, supplies, and transportation. e. Provide secure construction fence with gate(s), and safety/warning signs as required for job site security and pedestrian safety. f. Provide temporary construction safety enclosures at affected entries as required by existing building layout, job conditions and schedule. g. Provide emergency MSDS information and all OSHA required postings. h. Other than the Certificate of Plan Approval issued by Richland County Building Department, secure and pay for all permits and inspections required by regulatory agencies. City of Bucyrus requires a local Building Permit and Contractor Licensing. Confirm requirements with the City. i. Provide demolition of identified items and remove all debris from site. On-site burning or burying is not permitted. Protect existing to remain. j. Extension and connection of existing roof-top equipment curbs and flashings to new finished elevations and termination points. k. Modification of existing flashing as required for job conditions for interfacing with new roofing systems and configurations. l. Removal of existing asphalt shingles, existing underlayment and other roofing materials not being reused and removal off site including trucking and dump fees. m. Labor and materials for new roof systems including reuse of existing gutters and downspouts where indicated on Drawings. n. Painting, including touch-up of existing roof equipment and components that are affected by the new work. o. Supports, inserts, fasteners and other required accessories for a complete job. p. Provide for and maintain temporary access to building entrances and exits at all times during construction. Remove any such temporary construction upon completion of the work. q.
