Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of an educational facility in Demopolis, Alabama. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 8,966-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
Demolition of two structures, site and civil work for a new 8,966 square foot one-story building and parking lot which will include classrooms, hands-on training area and restrooms. There will be a separate bid for a site package and building package. All interested General Contractors shall contact the Architect to receive the criteria and the prequalification application. Forms will be received until 5:00 PM CDT on April 21, 2026. Only General Contractors who have been approved to bid pursuant to prequalification procedures and criteria established by the Owner will be eligible to bid for the project. All bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed under the provisions of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and must show evidence of license before bidding by clearly displaying the current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered.
