Description

Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Yakima, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a educational facility.

As of May 18, 2026, this project is in the conceptual phase. An architect has not yet been selected. Construction may begin in late 2026. The Yakima School District is requesting sealed proposals from qualified architectural firms and/or individuals to provide comprehensive architectural and engineering services for projects related to the construction of new elementary schools consisting of 28-34 classrooms with associated support spaces and miscellaneous district wide projects. Respondents must submit a conceptual mock-up design of the proposed elementary schools as part of their proposal package. Selected firms may be invited to present their proposal and conceptual design to the District. All proposals must be sealed, clearly labeled, and delivered to the specified address by the deadline. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive irregularities, and accept the proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the District. All firms lawfully engaged in the practice of architecture and engineering are encouraged to apply, including those certified by the Washington State Office of Minority & Women's Business Enterprises.
