Renovation of a transportation facility in Yakima, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The Owner has a DBE goal of 4.24% in compliance with their 49 CFR Part 26 program. Question Deadline 05/21/2026 Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing to the ENGINEER/ARCHITECT Joe Morgan (jmorgan@mwaarchitects.com) at MWAArchitects, Inc. at 503-416-8006. The project consists of, but is not limited to roofing modification, building envelope alteration, footings and foundations for envelope modifications, HVAC unit additions and modifications, sprinkler system modifications, electrical, data, security and lighting replacement, plumbing and limited natural gas utility alterations under a c pavement, new baggage handling and screening equipment, new overhead coiling doors, millwork and cabinetry, and ceiling, flooring and wall finishes. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount not less than 5% of the total bid. Bids will only be accepted from registered QuestCDN plan holders. The Owner's award of the contract is conditioned on satisfying good faith effort requirements for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation, including detailed documentation as specified. All required Federal Clauses, labor provisions, and wage rates are included in the specifications and bid documents. Each bidder must supply all of the information required by the bid documents and specifications and furnish a Statement of Bidders Pre-Qualifications with satisfactory evidence of competency to perform the work. The City of Yakima reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive any informalities or irregularities, postpone the award for up to 120 days, and accept the proposal in the best interest of the City. The award is contingent upon receipt of Federal funding.
