AIG 3-53-0089-059-2025 The project consists of, but is not limited to, roofing modification, building envelope alteration, footings and foundations for envelope modifications, storefront installation, new exterior steel canopy, HVAC additions and modifications, sprinkler system modifications, electrical, data, security and lighting replacement, plumbing and limited utility alterations under pavement, new baggage handling and screening equipment, new overhead coiling doors, millwork and cabinetry, ceiling, flooring, and wall finishes, and other work, all to be constructed in accordance with the Plans and Specifications. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by bond or certified check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid proposal. No bid proposal will be considered unless accompanied by such deposit, to be forfeited in the event the successful bidder fails or refuses to enter into a Contract. All bid proposals shall be in writing on the form bound in the Specifications, sealed and filed with the City Clerk's office. The City of Yakima reserves the right to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the City, to postpone acceptance of bids and the award of the Contract for up to forty-five (45) days, or to reject any and all bids received. Subject to the foregoing, the bid may be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. When awarded the Contract, the successful bidder shall promptly execute the Contract and shall furnish a bond of faithful performance in the full amount of the Contract price. Est.
