Site work for a water / sewer project in Yakima, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work consists of regrading, stabilizing, and armoring damaged levee segments at two locations on the Yakima River system in Yakima County, Washington, following erosion caused by recent high-water events. At the Naches Segment 7 levee, repairs address approximately 500 feet of eroded slope protection and potential minor embankment loss on the riverward slope upstream of the South Naches Road Bridge. At the Yakima Authorized Left Bank levee, repairs address approximately 500 feet of eroded slope protection and minor embankment loss at two areas along the toe of the levee, where flow from an activated side channel damaged a previously constructed berm; repair of the berm itself is not required. Work must be completed prior to the next flood season and will include construction activities performed within the mid-July to mid-October in-water work window. The contractor will be required to meet all USACE Safety and Health Requirements under EM 385-1-1, provide a Site Safety and Health Officer for each shift, utilize a Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead for erosion control measures, and use the Government-furnished QCS module of the Resident Management System for project documentation. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
