Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and for outdoor lighting for a road / highway.

The project involves reconstructing the intersection of Milton Road (NH 125) and Salmon Falls Road with a single-lane roundabout. The approach work on Milton Road begins approximately 630 feet south of the existing intersection and proceeds to 660 feet north of the existing intersection. The approach work on Salmon Falls Road begins approximately 435 feet southeast of the existing intersection. The center of the proposed roundabout is approximately 170 feet south of the existing intersection. The roundabout incorporates a driveway for Lambert’s Auto Salvage in the northeast corner and a major entrance for Sig Sauer’s development to the west. Additionally, the project will reconstruct the intersection of Milton Road (NH 125) and Cross Road to provide a northbound left-turn lane and raised median, with Cross Road approach work beginning approximately 150 feet northwest of the intersection. The existing water main within the project limits will be reconstructed, and the existing sewer main will be extended approximately 620 feet north within the project limits. The project also reconstructs and expands the existing closed drainage system and constructs a large drainage swale at the closed system outlet. Ancillary construction includes curbing, sidewalk, and roadway lighting. To be considered a responsive bidder, you must be registered with the Issuing Office as a plan holder and have obtained at least one set of bidding documents using the name that will appear on the Bid Form. Bids must be submitted either as hardcopy or electronically according to the detailed instructions. Bidders must be listed on the NHDOT "Prequalified Contractor’s List" with a classification of road construction and water/sewer construction, and provide written documentation from NHDOT to the designated recipient no later than three business days prior to the bid opening. Questions regarding the bidding documents must be submitted in writing at least seven business days before the bid opening; addenda will be issued no later than five business days prior to the opening. It is the bidder’s responsibility to monitor the designated website and email for any addenda or updates.
