Work shall be complete, operational, and compliant with all applicable codes and District requirements. The contractor is responsible for any and all permit fees. DEMOLITION & REMOVAL Demolish and remove existing walk-in refrigerator and freezer boxes and associated refrigeration equipment. Off haul and dispose of material in accordance with local waste regulations. Remove and dispose of existing refrigeration line sets. Properly recover, dispose, and document existing refrigerant in accordance with EPA and State regulations. Repair back walls where moisture damage has occurred. Re-brace bottom wall plate and lower metal studs as required. Patch, repair, and replace sheetrock as needed.
