Reference Number 0000411623 The Delta Township Administrative Building is undertaking a comprehensive modernization of its existing elevator system to ensure full compliance with the elevator safety codes and accessibility standards that will take effect in 2028. The project will upgrade critical mechanical, electrical, and life-safety components of the building's 2,000-lb elevator to improve overall safety, reliability, and operational performance. The modification will include replacement of outdated controls, enhancement of emergency communication systems, and modernization of safety devices in accordance with current ASME A17.1/CSA B44 requirements and all applicable state regulations. Additionally, the project will address energy-efficiency improvements, ensure compatibility with updated building systems, and extend the service life of the equipment.
