The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to submit a firm price for acceptance by the Borough for ITB26-030 Partial Roof Replacement - Skyview Middle School. Bidders shall notify the Purchasing and Contracting Director promptly of any error, omission, or inconsistency that may be discovered during examination of the Bid Documents and the proposed work site. Requests from Bidders for interpretation or clarification of the Bid Documents shall be made in writing to the Purchasing and Contracting Director and shall arrive Electronic bids/proposals may be submitted at the BidExpress.com website as the primary method of bid/proposal submission. For a limited time, paper bids/proposals will continue to be accepted. Bidders must submit evidence of qualifications, including financial resources, experience, performance on similar projects, and available organization and equipment upon request. All businesses must have a valid Alaska Business License and, if applicable, contractor's and specialty contractor license numbers. A Tax Compliance Certificate must be signed and submitted with the bid. For bids exceeding $100,000, a certified check, bank cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of five percent of the total bid must accompany each bid. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance and Payment bond in the full amount of the Agreement. Bids must be received no later than the specified due date, on furnished bid forms, and must be manually signed by an authorized person. All required documents must be included for the bid to be responsive. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive minor irregularities, and is not obligated to accept the lowest bid. Award will be made to the lowest, qualified, responsive, and responsible bidder. Questions about the bid documents should be directed in writing to the Purchasing and Contracting Director, and all addenda must be acknowledged. Bidders are responsible for examining the site and bidding documents before submitting their bids.
