Sealed bids are requested for furnishing necessary materials, equipment, superintendence, and labor for the Doty Road Water Line Improvements Project. The project generally includes installing a 12" steel casing and a 6" water line crossing under the CPKC Railroad alongside Doty Road, as well as all other necessary items as shown in the plans and required by the contract documents. Bids must include bid security in the form of either a certified or cashier's check drawn on a Texas bank or a bond by a surety company authorized in Texas, not less than five percent of the total bid. Bids must be submitted on the prescribed form and include a Contractor Qualification Statement. Successful bidders will be required to furnish payment and performance bonds. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are especially encouraged to bid.
