Description

Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Holmen, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility.

Major work items include building demolition and material disposal, removal and disposal of concrete, site grading, and restoration. A pre-bid site visit will be scheduled to allow potential bidders an opportunity to access the buildings. Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 PM, April 28th, 2026, at the Village Hall. Bidding documents are available from the Village of Holmen Public Works Department for a non-refundable fee. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the maximum bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proposed contract and bonds within ten days after the award. Bidders are not required to file Bidder's Qualification Forms; however, proof of responsibility and qualification may be requested before an award is made. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in bidding, and to accept the bid most advantageous to the Village. No bid may be withdrawn after the opening without the Village's consent for sixty days after the bid closing.
