The City seeks to award one or more contracts to provide: (1) installation services; (2) maintenance services, including routine preventative maintenance and on-call maintenance and repairs; and (3) customer service assistance services for publicly accessible bicycle electronic locker systems (“e-lockers”) at three (3) City-owned public facility locations. The initial contract term shall be for one (1) year, with two (2) optional two-year renewal terms. Contractor(s) shall furnish all labor, incidental trade-related materials, tools, equipment, transportation, mobilization, vehicle expenses, fuel, permits, traffic control, public notification, taxes, insurance, bonding, overhead, and profit necessary to perform the work in accordance with the City’s specifications and contract requirements. E-lockers provided under this contract shall operate as a shared-use, on-demand system and shall not be configured for exclusive or long-term assignment to individual users. The system must support access by multiple registered users on a short-term, non-exclusive basis, with lockers returning to general availability after each use or after a defined maximum usage period. General work includes, but is not limited to: furnishing and installing secure, durable, and weather-resistant bicycle storage units; implementing user-friendly electronic access systems (e.g., mobile application, RFID/transit card, or keypad entry); ensuring system functionality and reliability; providing routine preventative maintenance; delivering on-call maintenance and repair services; offering customer support to end users; and collecting and reporting data related to system usage, availability, and performance metrics.
