The Clay County Board of County Commissioners is requesting bids from qualified and licensed Contractors to complete enhancement grading and drainage, aiming to eliminate or reduce existing drainage issues at Oakleaf Community Park located at 3979 Plantation Oaks Blvd, Orange Park, FL 32065, according to the provided plans and specifications. The park currently experiences extensive flooding, standing water, and severe erosion around the main pond, impacting the usability of playing fields and spectator areas. The scope includes two phases: Phase I: Grading, restoration, and improvements to the stormwater system and pond. Phase II: Installation of under drains and piping to improve runoff conveyance. Project improvements consist of all work shown in the plans and specifications, including general conditions, mobilization, site and earth work, and drainage. Specific tasks include furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the project; pedestrian and traffic control; installing bahia seed and relocating a pitchers mound; providing litter removal and mowing services for six months after completion; and ensuring all work meets applicable standards. Contractors must be licensed, obtain permits, and adhere to all state and local regulations. The County reserves the right to approve subcontractors, and contractors must have been in business for a minimum of five years performing similar work.
