Sealed Bids for the construction of the 2026 Municipal Paving Contract will be received by the Town of Middlebury, Vermont, at the Public Works Building on 1020 Route 7 South Middlebury, VT 05753, until 2:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of shim and overlay sections of the following roads: Mary Hogan Parking Lot, Mary Hogan Drive, Rec Park Sidewalk, North Side of the Department of Public Works Shop, Lower Plains Road, Seminary Street, South Street and Willow Drive. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Schedule. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is Otter Creek Engineering, Inc. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office, 404 East Main St., Middlebury, VT 05753, on Mondays through Fridays between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and may obtain copies upon payment of $50.00 for each set. Partial sets will not be available. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets, including Addenda, if obtained from other sources. Electronic copies will be provided as PDF files on a flash drive to recorded recipients. Question Deadline 05/01/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than Four days prior to the date and time for opening of Bids may not be answered.
