Demolition and site work for a residential development in Winchester, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development.

All work is to be done in a safe, professional, workmanlike manner taking care to protect the owner's property and surrounding properties. The contractor is responsible for any damage caused during the execution of the work. The properties shall be accessed from Seaboard Street so as not to damage the sidewalk along Lincoln Street. Any damaged sidewalks shall be replaced by the contractor. In accordance with 401 KAR 60:010, all reasonable precautions shall be taken to prevent particulate matter from becoming airborne including covering of open bodied trucks, wetting material that is very dry and dusty, and preventing materials from being deposited onto a street or roadway. The project consists of the complete demolition of eight houses and the clearance of seven lots, along with related items on Lincoln Street in Winchester, KY. Bidders must submit lump sum bids for the work. Work must comply with all applicable codes and the Demolition Specifications. The successful bidder will be required to provide landfill receipts prior to payment, and ten percent of the contract amount will be retained until Winchester Municipal Utilities certifies all water and sewer lines have been properly capped off. The successful bidder and any subcontractors must have a city business license and obtain a demolition permit for each house prior to commencing work. The contract includes compliance with conditions of employment such as Access to Records, Title VI, Section 109, Conflict of Interest, Section 3, Segregated Facilities, EO 11246 (Equal Opportunity), Section 504, Age Discrimination Act of 1975, Segregated Facilities, and Energy Efficiency. Small, local, minority, and female-owned firms are encouraged to participate.
