General clearing of the disc golf fairways was performed by the Town of Bluffton Public Services Department, and the site is ready for the installation of the disc golf course features. It is the Town's desire to commence construction in June 2026. A construction calendar with a duration not to exceed 120 days from Notice to Proceed is required and will require close coordination with the Town project manager on any required park closures and partial reopenings over the duration of the project. The Town reserves the right to waive any irregularities, informalities or technicalities and may, at its discretion, request a new solicitation. The Town may cancel this solicitation in part or in its entirety if it is in the Town's best interest to do so. The general scope of services includes the following: 1. Mobilization, Bonda and Insurance 2. Selective Stump Removal, Tree Pruning, Rough Grading and Shredded Hardwood Mulch Installation. 3. Retaining Walls, Timber Steps and Handrails. 4. Concrete Pads for Tee Boxes and Disc Golf Baskets 5. Installation of Disc Golf Baskets (Baskets provided by others) 6. Partial Fence Demolition for Access 7. Removable Bollards 8. Diamond Rail Fencing 9. Site Furnishings (benches and trash receptacles) 10. Signage Structures (sign faces by others) 11. Shrub Plantings for Screening with Gator Bags 12. Add Alternate for Future Boardwalk over drainage swale.
