The project consists of providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary for a CTE Addition (33,900 square feet), Administration & Commons Addition (13,700 square feet), Interior Renovations (47,000 square feet), and related Site Improvements. Prospective bidders must contact the designated representative at Lamp Incorporated to be placed on the bid list. Bidders will be granted access to Smart Bid to download drawings for free, and Lamp Incorporated will use Smart Bid for the entire bidding process, including addenda. All contractors intending to bid must have a Lamp Incorporated Qualification Statement on file, updated within the last year. Qualification filing must be completed using Smart Bid, with qualification statements due prior to the bid due date. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 10% of the bid must accompany the Bid Form. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the bid, with sureties approved by the owner, and a Certificate of Insurance within ten days of the contract award. All bonds will be in accordance with requirements stated in the General Conditions. The successful bidder is required to pay prevailing wage for work under the contract and submit certified payroll records in compliance with the Prevailing Wage Act.
