General Construction, Demolition, Carpentry, Painting, HVAC, DDC Controls, Electrical, Fire Alarm, and Plumbing are included in the scope of work for the MATC - WSQ Welding Lab relocation project. Bids must be submitted electronically in PDF format through the A/E Graphics Online Plan Room. Bids and bonds must use the forms provided in the Bid Documents, stating the amount in writing and figures, and must be uploaded along with a copy of the Certified or Bank Cashier's Check or Bid Bond. The successful bidder may be asked to provide a hard copy within 48 hours of notification. Bids must be guaranteed and can be withdrawn for ten days after opening. Each bid must include the "Disclosure of Ownership" (if applicable) and the "Affidavit of Noncollusion" forms. A participation goal of 20% for Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) is included and strongly recommended, requiring the successful bidder to provide a list of HUB firms as part of post-bid submittals. Apprentices from five listed trades are mandatory, and the successful bidder must provide a list of Apprentice Categories from the specified trades as part of post-bid submissions. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities, or accept any deemed in its best interest.
