**Only Invitation to Bid packets obtained from Polk County Public Works at the aforementioned address or by contacting Heather Chase at chase.heather@polkcountyor.gov may be used to submit a Bid. The Work for Schedule A includes, but is not limited to, approximately 2,535,594 linear feet of single-coat Longitudinal Pavement Markings - Paint. The Work for Schedule B includes, but is not limited to, approximately 707,129 linear feet of two-coat Longitudinal Pavement Markings - Paint. The Work for Schedule C includes, but is not limited to, approximately 181,979 linear feet of Longitudinal Pavement Markings - High Performance. It is expected that the successful Bidder shall meet the highest applicable industry standards in providing this scope of work. Bids shall be clearly marked with the project title, date, and time of the public Bid Closing, as well as the Bidder's name, and delivered to the specified location by the Bid Closing time. Each Bidder must submit the "First Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form" by 4:00 p.m. local time on the day of the Bid Closing, in a separate sealed envelope marked accordingly. Failure to submit the required disclosure form will result in the Bid not being considered for Award. Prequalification with the State of Oregon in the classification of PAVE - PAVEMENT MARKINGS is required. Only Invitation to Bid packets obtained from Polk County Public Works may be used to submit a Bid. A Bid Bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the total Bid is required. A one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bond will be required from the successful Bidder. The work is subject to Oregon prevailing wage rates. The Owner reserves rights to postpone the Award, delete items from the Bid Section, award to the lowest responsible Bidder, and reject non-compliant Bids or those not in the public interest.
