The project involves providing mechanical work, electrical work, plumbing, site work, and architectural trades to facilitate the Geisler New Warehouse for the Walled Lake Consolidated School District. Each proposal must be submitted in duplicate on the forms furnished by the architect, completed in full, sealed in an opaque envelope, and marked with the name of the bidder and the project name. Proposals are to be addressed to Walled Lake Consolidated School District, 26-0512A – 2024BondProjects – Geisler NewWarehouse, Attn: Victoria Amore, 850 Ladd Road, Building D, Walled Lake, MI 48390. Bids must be delivered no later than 12:00 pm (EST), Tuesday May 12, 2026, to the Walled Lake Educational Service Center at 850 Ladd Road, Building D, Walled Lake, MI 48390, or electronically through PreconSuite. A bid bond executed by a Treasury listed surety company acceptable to the Walled Lake Consolidated School District or a cashier's check in the amount of at least 5% of the sum of the proposal payable to the Walled Lake Consolidated School District is required for each proposal over $31,321. Bids will be publicly opened and read at the Educational Services Center and via teams starting at 2:00 pm (EST), May 12, 2026. Successful bidders whose proposals are $50,000 or more will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond by a Treasury listed surety in the amount of 100% of their bid, with the cost to be included in the proposal. Bids must be accompanied by sworn and notarized statements disclosing any familial relationships, compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act, Criminal Background Checks, and Prevailing Wage (LEO) Registration. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids in whole or in part and to waive any informality or irregularity.
