Demolition, site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Campbell, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project.
The work involves design/build services to refurbish the Campbell Wastewater Treatment Plant. The project includes demolition of the existing non-potable water system (tank and compressor) and replacement, replacement of two draft tube Philadelphia mixers/aerators, replacement of trunk air lines and diffusers in both aeration basins, replacement of blowers, motors, and repair of diffusers in equalization tanks, repair and new cement work for gates in equalization tanks, installation of three isolation gates in the Wilson Ave wet well, replacement of air line and diffusers for the grit system, removal and replacement of WAS feed lines to sludge holding tanks, installation of new valves on EQ tank blower lines for isolation, replacement of a man door in a building, and replacement of a roll-up garage door in the solids building. General scope includes all demolition and removal of old equipment, installation of all new equipment, direct replacement of aerators and mixers if possible to avoid PTI, shutdown and draining of the existing non-potable system, provision of all equipment needed for transport and placement of new gates, air lines, and mixers, filling and testing of the new non-potable system, site work repairs including finish concrete work, and start-up and training for all new equipment. The selected firm must schedule a site visit prior to submitting qualifications. Qualifications should include information about firm history, education and experience of key personnel, technical expertise, similar project experience, staff availability, equipment and facilities, references, and previous work for the Board of Mahoning County Commissioners. Five sets of qualifications must be submitted.
