Site work for a water / sewer project in Portland, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project will rehabilitate approximately 7,900 linear feet of 6- and 8-inch sanitary sewer pipe, 37 manholes, and 100 lateral connections at the mainline. Rehabilitation will be completed using trenchless cured-in-place pipe (CIPP), internal manhole liners, and other trenchless applications to minimize surface disturbance. There are also five locations planned for excavation to allow for the mainline to be rehabilitated. The project is located in the vicinity of SW 78th Ave in Portland between SW Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy and SW Northshire Street. Bids and inquiries should be directed to Connie Wilson, Procurement Specialist via email at wilsonco@cleanwaterservices.org or via phone (503) 681-4464. Instructions to bidders: Bids must be submitted electronically via Bid Locker. Bidders are responsible for ensuring timely delivery and must register with Bid Locker prior to submitting bids. Clean Water Services will not accept bids by facsimile or email. Upon bid closing, all bids will be opened and read aloud by telephone conference. Bidders must submit their First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form to Bid Locker within two working hours of the bid closing time. The Contract Documents may be downloaded from Bid Locker, and it is the bidder's responsibility to check daily for any amendments, addenda, or notices. Bids must be made using the bid form found in the Contract Documents and accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit, or a bid bond in an amount not less than 5% of the total bid. The original bid security must be delivered to the District's office in a sealed envelope within five business days after the deadline. Bidders must be licensed by the Oregon Construction Contractors Board. Prevailing wage rates must be paid. Each bid must state whether the bidder is a resident bidder. District will not consider any bid not in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders and Contract Documents. A public works bond must be filed before starting work, unless exempt. District may reject any noncompliant bid and may cancel the procurement or reject all bids for good cause.
