Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sidman, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for paving for a road / highway.

Sealed proposals are requested for the following: ITEM 1: 372 tons of Superpave scratch and leveling course, 9.5mm, in place; ITEM 2: 1,115 tons of Superpave wearing course, 9.5mm, in place; ITEM 3: 47,126 square yards of single sealcoat with RS-2PM (E-2M)/CRS-2PM (E-3M). Phase #1 includes Items 1 and 2. Phase #2 is Item 3. Each phase must be bid and awarded separately. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act applies to Phase #1 if the bid amount exceeds $100,000.00. Liquidated damages are set at $975.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be submitted on forms provided by the municipality. A certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid amount, payable to the municipality, is required. A 100% performance bond or certified check must be provided by the successful bidder within 20 days of contract award. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
