The work includes replacement of the existing low water crossing with a new bridge and reconstruction of the approach roadway along County Road 35 at Walker Creek. Bids are required for the entire work described. No electronic or faxed bids will be accepted. No bid will be considered unless it is made on the forms furnished and in accordance with the Special Provisions. Each bidder must be licensed as required by law and as described in the contract documents. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids and to determine which Sealed Bid is the lowest responsive bid of a responsible bidder and in the best interest to accept. The right is also reserved to waive any information not material to cost or performance in any Proposal or bid. The work to be done consists, in general, of demolition of the existing concrete low water crossing and roadway, construction of a new slab bridge supported on CIDH concrete piles, and reconstruction of the approach roadway.
