Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Curtiss, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
This project includes, but is not limited to, the following items of work: traffic control, erosion control, asphalt milling, removal and replacement of existing curb and gutter, reinforced concrete gutter pan, reinforced concrete driveway, hot mix asphalt paving, concrete sidewalk, and turf establishment. The project involves milling the outer 6-foot wide strip of existing asphalt pavement and applying a 1-1/2 inch HMA overlay. Construction of sidewalk, concrete curb and gutter, and driveways will be completed prior to the overlay, along with adjustment of in-place castings for sanitary manholes, water valve boxes, and storm inlets. Concrete sidewalk improvements and associated turf restoration are included as alternate work. Major bid items encompass HMA pavement, removal of existing curb and gutter, PCC gutter pan and sidewalk, topsoil borrow, asphalt pavement milling, concrete pavement removal, PCC driveway, new curb and gutter installation, and turf establishment.
