Site work and paving for a civil project in Tahoma, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work generally involves trenching for water main installation, and installation of water main and appurtenances, surface restoration at trench locations. There is approximately 545 linear feet of 6" water main (C900) infrastructure and appurtenances, 15 linear feet of 8" water main (C900) infrastructure and appurtenances and nine (9) 2" water service installations with meter pits. Surface restoration includes permanent pavement patching and private property landscaping. The engineer's estimate for this project is approximately $425,000 to $490,000 for the base bid and $225,000 to $280,000 for Bid Alternate A. The Notice to Proceed for Construction shall be issued no later than July 6, 2026. The Contractor will have 61 calendar days to complete the Work in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations following the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
