Reference Number 0000420086 The City of Sterling, Colorado is soliciting bids for the construction of the 2026 Sanitary Sewer Project. The project includes sanitary sewer replacements throughout the City limits. Work will consist of the removal and replacement of 19 manholes and the installation of approximately 1,800 linear feet of PVC sanitary sewer pipe in varying diameters, with the majority being 10-inch pipe. All bidders shall include bid security in the amount of 5% of their respective bid. Bid security may be certified check or bond draft payable to the order of the City of Sterling or satisfactory bid bond. Performance Bond 100 - Payment Bond 100 % the Contractor shall commence work on or before the 10th day following the date stipulated in the Notice to Proceed and shall diligently prosecute the work to completion within 80 working days. A daily charge in the amount of $250 will be made against the Contractor for each working day that any work remains from any money due the contractor. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to award this bid in the manner the City deems in its best interest. City Council shall be the final judge of the City's best interest.
