The William H. Galvin Middle School project design calls for a new 218,350 gsf middle school serving 1,020 students in grades 5 - 8. The new school will be located on the existing Galvin Middle School site located at 55 Pecunit Street in Canton, MA. The new building will be located on the portion of the site currently used as the main parking lot for the staff and visitors. The construction delivery method is Construction Manager at Risk, Chapter 149A. Consigli Construction was selected as the CM for this project and has been an instrumental partner in developing construction logistics. The new Galvin Middle School will be constructed in its entirety prior to demolition of the existing middle School. Students and staff will continue to occupy the existing building throughout construction of the new middle school. The existing access points off Pecunit Street will remain active throughout construction.
