The Town of Canton (Town), Department of Public Works (DPW), invites sealed bids for the replacement of the Duggan Field Retaining Wall located near 25 Pecunit Street in Canton, MA. Sealed bids for Town Project No. 25-009D, "Duggan Field Retaining Wall Replacement" The Project shall consist of constructing a new pre-cast retaining wall along with installation of a pre-cast concrete steps and handrails, general accessibility improvements, and miscellaneous site work. The Project shall be substantially completed by August 18, 2026, or within 60 consecutive calendar days from the date specified in Section 00650 Notice to Proceed. The base bid work consists primarily of the removal and disposal of a concrete retaining wall and chain link fencing; and the furnishing and installation of a new pre-cast block retaining wall with new pre-cast steps and chain link fencing as shown on plans by the Canton Public Works Engineering Division. The new retaining wall will be tied into the existing dugout. Location of the work shall be as shown on the contract drawings attached as Appendix D. The project shall be completed within 60 consecutive days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
