The work includes reconstruction of the Ohio to Erie asphalt trail, concrete repairs, sidewalk replacement, pavement markings, RRFB material procurement and installation, trail sign procurement and installation, and other appurtenant work. The project is subject to Federal procurement standards and the requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act and Federal Department of Labor regulations. Only ODOT pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids, and the prime contractor must perform no less than 30 percent of the total original contract price. The SBE goal is set at 5%. Bids must be accompanied by a bid guaranty, and if accepted, a contract must be executed and a satisfactory performance/payment bond furnished within ten days after notice of award. The City reserves the right not to award a contract and to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities and irregularities.
