The work consists of the supply and delivery of winter sand and stockpile services as required by participating agencies. The supplier shall provide all necessary machinery and absorb all costs of production, fuel surcharges, insurance premiums, transportation freight, depot storage, handling, and other means of labor to perform all work and supply and deliver all the material as specified, at the unit prices in the bid form. The work will consist of: a) supply and delivery of bulk winter sand; b) mixing (or remixing of previous year) winter sand with salt; c) stockpiling of sand; d) stockpiling of salt (salt provided by the participating agency). Bids must be submitted online, in English, and suppliers may preview bid documents free of charge, though some documents may require registration or a subscription plan to access certain secured documents.
