Fitchburg Housing Authority New Community Center & Admin Offices - Sub Bid The Project Consists of the Construction of a New, Ground-up, One-story, 13,300 Sq. Ft. Wood Framed Community Building With Associated Parking Areas, Landscape Areas, Roadways, Walkways and Site Utilities. Estimated Cost is $13,128,000. Sub Bid Categories Include Masonry; Misc. Metals; Waterproofing, Dampproofing, and Caulking; Roofing and Flashing; Metal Windows; Tile; Acoustical Tile; Resilient Floors; Painting; Fire Protection; Plumbing; Hvac; Electrical. The Workforce Participation Benchmark is Set at 9.8% for Women and 6.8% for Minorities. 6.9% for women and 15.3% for minorities. The project consists of the new construction of a 13,046 SF facility serving the Fitchburg Housing Authority and the residents of two adjacent developments. Spaces include primary offices for the housing authority, Multipurpose Room for community programs, a classroom, Before & After school care center, community health and outreach services, and a public micro-library branch. The single level structure is slab on grade foundation construction, with wood framed exterior walls, brick and fiber cement panel exterior finishes, prefabricated wood roof trusses and exposed mass timber roof construction in the Multipurpose Room and Lobby. Roof uses structural insulated panels throughout. All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by 05/29/2026 at 2:00PM EDT for filed sub-bids
