This project includes the removal and replacement of a portion of the existing roadway with a trail, while the remaining portion of the existing road will be reconstructed. The project also involves stream bank stabilization/hardening, along with the installation of stormwater best management practices, utility improvements, and other related infrastructure improvements as specified in the bid documents. Contractors shall employ a minimum of 50% of the contract labor force with employees that reside in Milwaukee County. Documentation must be performed by LCPtracker Labor Compliance software. All bidders must meet the minimum software requirements of the bidding website and be able to view, enter, scan and upload PDF files to submit a bid. The Targeted Business Enterprise (TBE) participation goal for this project is 9.94 percent. All required TBE-14 forms must be completed and signed by the prime and submitted as indicated.
