The City of Pomona Water Resources Department is seeking the purchase of new and unused motor control centers (MCCs) for installation at four water production facilities: Booster Station No. 8, Booster Station No. 12, Production Well No. 6, and Production Well No. 34. The MCCs must be fully equipped as specified in the project plans and specifications. All items listed on the Bid Sheets must be fabricated and delivered per project specifications within four months after receipt of order, with a preference for faster delivery. Freight terms are FOB Destination and delivery is to be made to each project site. The successful bidder must: - Provide a City of Pomona business license. - Demonstrate at least five years of continuous experience in MCC and programmable logic control (PLC) in-house fabrication. - Show experience with municipal and/or water/wastewater facilities. - Provide references for at least three successfully completed projects of similar scope and fee in the last five years. - Provide support including cabinet design support and configuration coordination, regional service presence within 50 miles for commissioning support and troubleshooting, O&M manuals, and repair and upgrade services. The contract period is for two years upon City Council approval. Bidders must be listed on the City of Pomona's "prospective bidders list" on PlanetBids and must not register through any third party. Failure to register with PlanetBids prior to submitting a response will result in immediate rejection of the bid. A City of Pomona business license and valid insurance are required when delivering within city limits.
