Site work for a water / sewer project in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of constructing approximately 1,000 linear feet of water main, replacing 4 storm sewer inlets, providing 2,400 tons of base course, installing 840 tons of asphalt pavement, restoration, and related miscellaneous work. Bids not from Plan Holders may be deemed non-responsive. Each bid must include bid security equal to 10% of the bidder's maximum bid price. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. All bids are subject to acceptance for 85 days after the bid deadline. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and accept any bid considered advantageous. For further details regarding bid submission, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the instructions to bidders included in the bidding documents. Pre-qualification requirements: Prospective bidders are required to complete and submit a prequalification questionnaire with supporting documents, using forms provided in the bidding documents. Completed forms must be submitted no later than 4 P.M. local time on April 30, 2026. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. All requests for interpretation must be received at least five business days prior to the day set for receiving Bids.
