Sealed Bids will be received for the new construction at 202 Keeley St, Edinburgh, IN 46124. Work will be performed under one Unified Contract. Bids must be submitted on forms provided in the Project Manual and executed in accordance with Indiana Board of Accounts Form No. 96 (Current Revision), with a financial statement, a supplemental bid form, and a satisfactory Bid Bond or certified check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total price. Bids shall be delivered in a sealed envelope plainly labeled to indicate the project and the Bidder's name and address. If a successful Bidder withdraws or fails to execute a satisfactory Contract, the Owner may declare the deposit forfeited as liquidated damages. Construction must comply with Drawings and Specifications. Procurement Documents are available for a deposit and may be examined at specified locations. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid and waive informalities or errors in bidding. The winning Bidder must furnish a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond and a one hundred percent (100%) Labor and Materials Payment Bond, in effect for twelve months from acceptance of the Work. The Contract prohibits employment practices that discriminate based on race, color, sex, religion, national origin, or ancestry. Items or materials equal in quality and efficiency to specified trade names may be offered if written approval is received prior to the bid opening and the Bidder identifies such substitutions by name, kind, and type with the Bid.
