The work involves the installation of a low-pressure forcemain system and a grinder lift station within the Heflen Park campground area, located at 4323 W 700 N, Edinburgh, Indiana 46124. All materials furnished and labor performed incident to and required for the proper and satisfactory execution of the contracts shall be furnished and performed in accordance with the requirements of the contract documents as defined in the General Conditions of the Construction Contract and any addenda thereto, prepared by the Engineer. Bids must be submitted in an enclosed opaque sealed envelope, marked HEFLEN PARK SANITARY FORCE MAIN AND LIFT STATION. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check or acceptable Bidder's Bond made payable to Bartholomew County Treasurer, in a sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the highest aggregate proposal. Bidders shall submit their Employer Identification Number (E.I.N.) or, if absent, their Social Security Number. Out-of-state contractors or subcontractors must show proof of registration with the Indiana Secretary of State. Approved Performance and Payment Bonds, executed by an acceptable surety company, will be required at the time of contract execution in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price and must be in effect for twelve (12) months from the date of written acceptance and final payment of the work. Bids shall be properly and completely executed on Bid Forms provided by the Engineer, which shall include the Non-Collusion Affidavit and the revised Indiana Contractors Bid Form No. 96. No bids shall be withdrawn after opening without consent for sixty (60) days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, accept any bid or combination of bids, and to waive informalities in the bidding.
