The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. This Project includes the demolition of concrete in the proposed fuel facility area and the construction of the following: installation of storage tank and fueling cabinet/skid (furnished by Owner), construction of new fuel storage tank and cabinet/skid concrete pad, new concrete transfer area pad, new, storm drainage connecting into existing system, and new electrical and communication lines to the facility. The intent of this project is the installation of a new above ground fuel tank (furnished by owner) on a new concrete pad. Work includes excavation, pavement removal, paving, installation of new underground drainage, underground utility improvements, electrical, lighting, security cameras, and restoration. Bids shall be properly executed and addressed to the specified office, together with the documents required by the bid forms, specifications, and related legal documents. A bid bond with sufficient surety or a certified check equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid must accompany the Contractor's bid to ensure that a contract will be entered into and the proposal secured if accepted. The Bidder must supply all the information required by the bid or proposal form. Disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids, and no businesses will be discriminated against based on race, color, national origin, creed, sex, age, or disability in consideration for an award. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any irregularities in the bidding procedure.
