Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.
The work consists of interior and exterior renovations as required by the bidding documents, the agreement between owner and contractor, the general conditions, and any special conditions, specifications, and drawings. The project is a unified bid and will be awarded to a general contractor with a complete bid of all work as specified in the documents. Bids must be submitted on the forms provided in the bid package and must include the names of every person or company interested. Each bid must be accompanied by a revised Form No. 96 as prescribed by the Indiana State Board of Accounts (including a financial statement, a statement of experience, a proposed plan for performing the work, and the equipment available for the work), and a bid bond or certified check in the amount of ten percent of the total bid. The contractor must provide a performance bond and a payment bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent of the contract price. All contractors and subcontractors are required to comply with antidiscrimination provisions and verify the work eligibility status of all employees through the E-Verify program. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive irregularities or to accept any bid deemed most advantageous to the owner.
