Site work for a civil project in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of the installation of 1100 linear feet of gravity storm sewers ranging in size from 12 to 30-inch diameter, inlets, manholes, and water main lowerings. There will be five alternates for this project that consist of basin construction and additional piping. Bonds: 100% Payment Bond, 100% Performance Bond. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Design Manager in writing. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Emerging Business Enterprises (EBE) 10% All questions not presented in this meeting are to be submitted to Annabelle Evans (e-mail: annabelle.evans@cityoffortwayne.org) no later than 5:00 p.m. local time Thursday (05/21/26) and will be addressed in the Addendum. A final addendum will be issued the Friday before the project bid opening. Notice to Proceed – estimated July 2026 Substantial Completion – 150 days from Notice to Proceed Substantial Completion for this Work shall consist of all storm sewer and structures installed, all piping is to be successfully tested and in operation, and final seeding, grading, and restoration is to be completed. Final Completion – 180 days from Notice to Proceed shall consist of construction document closeout.
