Renovation of a transportation facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility; and transportation facility.
Sealed bids are sought from experienced and prequalified contractors for the Expansion and Renovation of the FWCS Transportation Center. Each bid shall include all labor, material, and services necessary to complete the project in strict accordance with the prepared drawings and specifications. Bids must be received from a single prime contractor. Contracts are contingent on securing sufficient funding, and may be terminated without penalty if funds are not available. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds equal to 100% of the contract amount may be required from the successful bidder within ten days after contract execution and must remain in effect for twelve months after Substantial Completion. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive informalities or irregularities. Bids may not be modified, withdrawn, or canceled for sixty days after the deadline without consent from the Owner and Construction Manager. Pre-qualification requirements: All prospective bidders are required to complete the prequalification process as a condition precedent to award or issuance of a subcontract agreement. Directions for prequalification are available online through the Construction Manager.
