The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to replace boiler feed lines, condensate lines, and associated valves, piping, and related materials within Building 2. The work includes demolition and removal of existing piping systems, insulation, valves, and other materials associated with the affected systems, followed by installation of new components in accordance with the specifications and statement of work. All work shall be completed within 90 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Location: Fort Wayne Northern Indiana Health Care System Campus, 2121 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805. All RFIs submitted shall include the solicitation number and title, contractor name, city, state, telephone, email address, date submitted, and the RFI question(s). RFI responses will be submitted via email. This will include demolition of piping, insulation, valves and other material on the systems listed. All work to be completed at the VA- Northern Indiana Health Care Systems - Fort Wayne Campus, 2121 Lake Avenue. Fort Wayne, IN 46805-5100. Work to be completed within 90 calendar days from contractor receipt of the notice to proceed. Primary Tasks include but are not limited to the following: 1. Existing Feed water lines from the pumps to the boilers (to include valves and insulation) shall be demolished and disposed of. 2. Existing Condensate lines (to include valves and insulation) shall be demolished and disposed of. 3. Installation of new feed water system to match existing system. 4. Installation of new condensate system to match the existing system. 5. Salvage and reuse the Automatic Level Control Units that are on the current Boiler Feed Water System. Additional information: 1. Boiler plant runs at 15 PSI. 2. Work will be performed in such a way that will allow the Boiler plant to continue to operate and continue hospital operations. 3. There is roughly 300 linear feet of pipe 4. There are approximately 185 fittings 5.
