Engineering services are requested for water pollution control revolving loan fund wastewater improvements. The scope of work includes preliminary engineering planning, topographic and boundary surveys, preliminary and final engineering design with development of construction plans and specifications, assistance with bidding and procurement of contractor(s) in conformance with federal requirements (including bid advertising, bid opening and tabulation, recommendation of award, and pre-construction conference and notice to proceed), construction administration, on-site construction observation, review and recommendation of payment, and conducting and overseeing final inspection. Interested consulting engineering firms must provide one original, five copies, and a digital version of their proposal containing: a cover letter specifying the project and office location, resumes and qualifications for key personnel, a description of relevant work completed in the past five years, proof of licensure in Mississippi, an organizational chart, evidence of necessary resources and available staff, and Part II of Standard Form (SF) 330 Architect-Engineer Qualifications. Selection will be based on experience with similar work, qualifications of principals and professionals, and experience with publicly funded projects.
