Description

Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Pontotoc, Mississippi. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a municipal facility.

The City of Pontotoc is soliciting statements of qualifications from licensed and qualified architectural firms to provide professional architectural services for the design and construction of a new public building. The Architect will be responsible for performing all architectural services through project closeout in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and policies. The scope of work includes but is not limited to: schematic design, design development, preparation and distribution of construction documents, cost estimation, bidding assistance, pre-construction conference, and construction administration services, including performing construction inspection with periodic reports to the City of Pontotoc and approving all payment requests. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope and marked "Proposal for Architectural Services." Proposals will be evaluated on Qualifications, Experience, and Capacity for Performance. To be evaluated properly, proposals must address in detail: qualifications of assigned personnel, information about the firm's experience and previous projects, and identification of staff assigned to provide services. The City may hold proposals for up to thirty days for review and reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The contract will be on a fixed price basis.
