Site work for a transportation facility in Stockton, California. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
The work consists of the demolition of approximately 9,000 SY of asphalt concrete taxiways and 600 SY of concrete, including the removal of associated signage. Bid Alternate 1 includes modifications to taxiway signage and markings. All labor, material, tax, transportation, equipment, and services necessary for the Decommission Taxiways M & L Project at Stockton Metropolitan Airport are to be furnished as specified. 2026-AIP-57 Question Deadline 05/06/2026 All questions regarding the materials contained in the Contract Documents must be mailed (certified mail) or e-mailed by this date to Teddy Ramil at teddy.ramil@meadhunt.com or Mead & Hunt, Inc, Attn: Teddy Ramil, 180 Promenade Circle, Suite 240, Sacramento, CA 95834. Bids must be in writing, signed, and made using the provided form, with all items completed. Sealed bids, accompanied by a proposal bond for at least 10% of the total bid amount, are required. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond, each for 100% of the contract price. A Class A, C10, C12, C21, or C-45 license is required. The contract will be awarded on the basis of the lowest responsible bid for the Base Bid plus Bid Alternate 1, subject to a grant offer and acceptance. The total number of calendar days for completion is approximately 178 working days. All laborers must be paid not less than the federal or state prevailing wage rate, whichever is higher. Bidders are to comply with all applicable federal and state requirements, including federal contract provisions, Buy American Preference, Title VI Assurance, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise requirements, the Davis-Bacon Act, and others. Monthly progress payments will be made, less a 5% retainage. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities. Further instructions and access to plans and specifications require registration with Public Purchase. Questions regarding the materials in the contract documents must be submitted in writing by the specified deadline. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference and site walk are highly encouraged but not mandatory.
