Closing Time: 2:30 PM NT ** Please note that there has been 3 addendum issued for this project. ** The work generally includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: Mobilization and demobilization, including all labor and equipment as specified and as required to carry out the work. Clean and certify gas free Tank 2 in preparation for completion of API inspection and tank repairs requiring hot tank work procedures. Completion of an API 653 Internal Out-of-Service inspection of Tank 2 by a certified API 653 Tank Inspector. Welding repair of pitted shell. Supply, fabricate and installation of roof patch. Removal of existing foam chamber and vertical piping. Supply and install a new foam chamber with vertical piping. Replace existing vertical pipe supports as required. Supply materials, labour and equipment for the performance of a hydrostatic test of the new fire foam piping. Supply, fabricate and install four (4) new grounding lugs welded to the tank shell. Grounding cable to be installed by others. Contractor to remove obsolete tank heaters on six (6) NPS 3 nozzles spread evenly around the circumference of Tank 2. Removed heater equipment to be replaced with NPS 3, 150# blind flanges along with appropriate studs, nuts and spiral wound gaskets. Supply, fabricate and install a new nameplate bracket and tank nameplate. Supply and install paint coating for Tank 2 shell and roof. Surface to be prepared for the application of finished coating to meet manufacturer's instructions. Supply and install paint coating for bare metal surfaces associated with the installation of foam piping for Tank 1. Surface to be prepared for the application of finished coating to meet manufacturer's instructions. Preparation, submission, and implementation of an approved Construction Schedule. Preparation, submission, and implementation of an approved Site-Specific Safety Plan. Preparation, submission, and implementation of an approved Site-Specific Environmental Protection Plan. Preparation, and submission of a Project Execution Methodology. Marine Atlantic reserves the right to accept tenders in whole or in part. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
